MM Hosting Reviews

I have been with several different hosts over the last 8 years and MM Hosting have given me the worst problems of them all.

On 3rd July 2010 the cPanel server my accounts were hosted on had not been kept up to date with patches and was subsequently hacked. The hackers created / replaced index.html files in every subfolder of every account with a "you have been hacked" message, which took MM Hosting weeks to sort out. They moved the accounts to a new server, but my emails in my IMAP accounts would intermittently disappear and reappear with anything sent inbetween going missing, including another message from the admins saying they are no longer going to be offering reseller hosting and all accounts should be moved to another host.

While in the process of moving my accounts to my new reseller host, they shut off the server and I lost access to the accounts that had not yet been moved. I contacted them and they did not provide me with the backups for the missing accounts meaning I now have angry customers who have lost all of their web files. All this despite my monthly payment still going through for the period after they shut off the server.

There are so many other hosts out there who do bother to keep their servers up to date and secure, and who will gladly provide you with backups when required. MM Hosting is not one of them.
