I want to say that Globat.com is a good host, with respectable hosting, and i host my site with them. So heres my review.

:Features [8/10]

Globat.com offers a lot of features, like any other webhost would do. But what they dont tell you is that some features cost extra money yearly to actually have, the features list is things that you either have or could have. So i was disappointed when i found that out myself.

:Customer Support [11/10]

Yes, like on their site, their customer support team does seem like experts. This is one of the best ive yet to see. You can email or LiveChat them (which they are always there), and you message them with your problem, and a little while later, they message you saying if they will fix it asap, or they already know and its being done, or if they cant fix it, they send your message to a Senior tech/customer support.

:Pricing [8/10]

Their pricing is good. They usually have holiday specials (like one going on right now for $4.44 p/mo for the first year of hosting because of the 4th of july), and that seems to be the lowest price they usually go to. After your first year of hosting, your price goes back to the normal billing price of $6 something p/mo. Pricing score i put was lowered 2 points because of extra money you have to fork out to get some extra features like unlimited databases and unlimited sub-domains (eg: you.yourdomain.com; You also need to buy this to actually have sub-domains, rather than the usual yourdomain.com/~you they also have for free).

:Space [10/10]

One thing lots of people want is more space to hold everything they've got. Globat offers packages such as the "TeraByte Xtreme™"; 1TB Space, 1TB Bandwidth. (This is the one i bought), or the "TeraBye XS™"; 5TB space, 5TB bandwidth, but it really just depends on if you need it. I have yet to fill up even 10GB. Score is 10/10 because, who DOESNT want 1tb of space for $83 a year? (or $53 for 4.44 deals)

:Speed [7/10]

The speed is good, only that heavy-graphic sites take longer to load, as usual. Good thing you have 1tb of bandwidth to use. Not much to write about speed.

:Reliability [5/10]

The lowest rated i have. Sometimes their servers go down without warning, and when i cant load my site, i search Their site for answers, unfortunately, there is none. To find out, i have to submit a LiveChat ticket thing, for them to tell me "Yes, there was a problem with our servers, they should be back online shortly". The servers seem to be going out like once or twice a month for about a couple hours at most. Also, when i bought my new site, there were problems already with it. I couldnt go into ftp, and after, i couldnt upload anything such as files or folders (or make folders directly on the site), but again, their customer support surprised me, within a couple hours, everything was fixed. I just wish there werent any problems in the first place.

=The Bad

With the downtime, which seems to happen at the most convenient times (sarcasm) when i need to update my site, i get mad pretty easily at it, especially when i have to tell people that ill have to work on their forum later (because i offer my friends forums on my site), because of downtime. I also didnt like that i couldnt use/have some of those features which were on the lists.

=The Good

If you want a site, and you are either new or pro, then you should pick this host if you dont mind a couple hours of downtime. It is better (and a little more expensive) than some other more popular sites like godaddy (Whos customer support is still the worst, ever!). For pro people, you have ftp access to anything and everything, even cgi-bin folders, http folders (default for sites), https folders, php, mysql, and all that good stuff. If your new, they also have a control panel, with web building software in a few clicks. You can also install programs such as phpbb2 with a couple clicks, and ecommerce scripts, etc etc. They can also give you a free year of hosting if you give a referral link to 3 other people and they buy hosting.

Well this is my review, and hopefully it helped someone out their with some of the real information.
