I've been with ewebguru since August 2008 and have been fairly happy with them. The downtime I have had, has been rare and minimal.
The worst I can say is the 2 or 3 times downtime was more than minimal, it lasted due to some minor problem, they were vrey prompt during that time and informed me via email. Overall ewebguru.com is very reliable, great uptime and speeds with good prices
After using another host for a long time with bad support downtime issues finally moved to ewebguru.com about a month ago got a very good deal 10gb hosting with site builder,cpanel, fantastico for Rs 1595 yearly. They transferred my accounts from old host, Instant activation, till now know problems support is good and fast also online support is available.

was very confused before selecting a webhost, My friend suggested me ewebguru on the basis of his 2 yrs experience with them. I gave them a try and surprised by their excellent service, great storage space, almost none downtime. Their customer support is also eually good, no wonder I keep on recommending them to one and all.
I must say it is a solid host, with great reputation. I have their apprx Rs 1500 plan with 10gb space, price is quite cheap comparative to what other offer. Although I never faced any problem, but sometime I used their support for scripting issues, I was surprised to see their prompt reply. I was facing problem in connecting to database in my script, I forgot to add user to database. Their support staff not only fix this issue, he also informed me with details how he resolved the issue. I highly recommend eWebGuru for any Indian looking for web hosting.
I am using eWebGuru.com since last 15 months, I must say they are the best host in India, previously I was with another host, but due to their unsatisfactory performance, I shifted to eWebGuru.com

I’m disappointed with eWebGuru. I’ve been using it for a couple of years now, and its really let me down. What attracted me initially were their low hosting prices, just about $20 for an entire year. It seemed great especially because they were offering 10GB of spce and 100GB of bandwidth to go along with it not to mention numerous other features. They also had numerous reviews about themselves posted across the web, which convinced me that this was the service I wanted.
However, ever since I started to using Web CEO to monitor the performance of my websites, eWebGuru has left me disappointed.

1. The DNS Lookup time for my website is about 0.34 seconds. The average for other websites is 0.12 seconds (3 times less)
DNS lookup refers to the process of resolving an IP address (ie 192.168.11.137) to a host name (eg summary.net). DNS names are registered with the global name server
2. The Connect time for my website is a measly 0.44 seconds, which is double the average time for other websites (0.24 seconds).
3. The Host Ping time for my website is 0.07 seconds which I must say is the only good thing. Other sites average about 0.09 seconds.
4. The Download time for a 20 Kb file is what really disappoints me. My website takes a whopping 4.44 seconds whereas other websites average about 0.88 seconds.
Another thing which I’m not happy about is the fact that the folks over at eWebGuru have now doubled their webhosting prices. They no longer look as attractive an option as they once were. True, they still offer remarkable support, but the quality of service is certainly on the decline. Evidently their slogan of ‘eWebGuru – Where speed matters!’ rings out a false tune.

Mrintech.com is Online for Past 7 Months and I started with eWebGuru Web Hosting
I thought of reviewing eWebGuru Services which is offered to it’s existing customers and here’s a frank review post for those who are considering to get Web Hosting from eWebGuru:
The Beginning
Mrintech.com made it’s entry to the World Wide Web on 23 December 2008 and I was very much confused regarding which web host to choose right here in India? Being an Active Member at Think Digit Forum, I was given reference of Mr. Ashok Arora (also known as ahref at Think Digit Forum) and his own Web Hosting Company eWebGuru.
I thoroughly contacted Mr. Ashok Arora via Private Messages (on the Forum itself) and also via the Contact Page of eWebGuru! Got very prompt responses and I decided to go with Gold Plan featuring 25 GB Web Space and Unlimited Bandwidth!
Setup
I made a Payment via Demand Draft and to my surprise the Web Hosting was activated the same day they received my payment. Even I hadn’t waited for Domain Name Propagation (which usually Takes 24-48 Hours). Suitable Accounts details were E-mailed to me as well.
Due Course of Hosting
As Promised by eWebGuru, till now I have experienced 99.9% Uptime. The only Downtime I (rather say all websites on shared hosting) experienced was due to FAT Problem in the Server Hard Disk. The Downtime was around 3 Hours and eWebGuru Team (especially Mr. Ashok Arora) was constantly replying to my E-mails clearly explaining What went Wrong? and the Expected time for the Problem to be rectified.
Support
I tend to open Support Tickets which were promptly replied within 20-25 Minutes. But since we are both active members at Think Digit Forum (rather say Good Friends!), I simply send E-mails directly to him and he promptly replies me back!
At one point of time, there were certain big loading issues with my Wordpress Installation and I specifically requested Mr. Ashok Arora to move my Website to a New Web Server and he moved it the very next day. The current Web Server on which Mrintech.com is hosted contains lesser number of Websites (You can check it yourself!)
Conclusion
Well as per my best Experience with eWebGuru, I can say the following things:
-Affordable Hosting – Believe Me!
-Really Very Fast Setup
-99.9% Uptime as Promised with Speedy Servers
-Latest version of cPanel and Related Services. Scripts and other core Web Hosting entities are updated as soon as they are available.
-Excellent Support Team, especially Mr. Ashok Arora!
-So if you are interested in launching your Personal Website/Blog than you must give your full priority to eWebGuru. On whole I will give eWebGuru – 9/10
