I've been with many isps over the span of 3 years, and generally speaking I know the ups and downs of the top isps including a few off shore ones. As on January 1st I've set up shop using ecatel's servers and services. At first they were decent, they set up servers in a week. But from there on the horror began. Memory upgrades which were needed badly took over a month to install. A new server setup took a month to setup, and when they did do it something was always broken in the server causing another nightmare in progress. Recently they've had over 15 HOURS of downtime in 2 days. Yea that's right and that's not it. They've had DNS outages for 4-5 hours, service updates which caused entire servers to go down for 4 more hours, and all of this in one month.

That's not the worse of it either, no, of course that couldn't be the end of it. These guys are just that bad. Just last night a power failure occurred, and since thye have 0 night personal the server was down for another 7 hours making it a total of 24 hours downtime in 4 days. A crappy record held only by ecatel. Shame on you ecatel. You guy's have cost me thousands of dollars, and have cost yourselves a good customer, as well as many bad reviews to come in the next few years. If anyone asks the truth will be said, and that truth is that you guy's shouldn't exist.

I've not slept for 29 hours so far, and my eyes are red, and i'm about to break down from the massive losses i've incurred during this bad economical time. Whatever you do don't go with ecatel, just don't you'll regret it.
