I am a very happy customer of Downtownhost and I think they deserve some credit here.

I have been constantly switching host for quite awhile before I landed on DTH and have sticked with them since.

I have 10 sites with DTH since about 5 months ago and they have not let me down. My sites are always up and running and the speed is fast considering that all the 10 sites are hosted on their shared platform. Customer service is top notch! DTH were quick to answer my tickets, sometimes as quick as 2 minutes. And it usually only takes me 1-3 tickets to get my problems solved. This explains their highly capable and knowledgeable tech team.

I would highly recommend this host to anyone looking for shared hosting. I can't comment on their other package though as I haven't used them before. But for shared hosting their probably the best!

I have been a downtownhost customer for 3 years now and here are some of the things I come to enjoy.

SUPPORT
Support has been outstanding, better than I had ever had expected to receive. When I submit a ticket, My issues are resolved within minutes and sometimes they are already taken care of when I receive a response.

The support staff are friendly, professional and provide excellent service. I have no complaints.
Thanks to all the DTH staff who are quick to resolve my issues. listed below (in no particular order)

HOSTING
The service has been stable and running smoothly for quite some time, I believe I have only experience a small window of downtime which only lasted a few minutes. Beyond that its been great, its a reliable service that I can't move away from.

To those who are new to hosting or looking for a host, make sure you research both “shared hosting” and “dedicated hosting” so you know what will adequately meet your needs in regards to any scripts or or large goals that you may have for your site. Its also good to be informed on these subjects so that you know you are setting realistic expectations for your hosting plan of your choice.

OVERALL SERVICE
It's been great, its been a few years now and it still stands, service and reliability its still something that downtownhost provides.

When I went looking for a hosting company I wanted to make sure they were reliable so that when my needs grew in hosting I could turn around and bring that extended business to the same company I'm doing business with now.

One more thing, when you begin looking for a host, look for long term reliability. Research the company, ask questions. If they seem un-interested find a different company. Remember, price should be a concern but reliability and performance should be the number one objective when choosing a host.

If your not happy with you current host, let your money do the talking and go somewhere else.

what do I get out of this? nothing, well maybe the feeling that I have helped someone find a reliable host. Good luck.
