I'm going to do my host a favour (hopefully) by posting here. They're a relatively small company and I think any referrals would do them some good, as they've been really good for me for the whole time I've been with them. I'm going to be good and use the template .

General Features [very good]

For most users, their features are fine. They use cPanel to control your site with, which I'm not a fan of, but put up with. I just find it a bit clunky, but then I don't blame them for using it as it's probably better for people that are new to websites.

Reliability [excellent]

I don't remember having any unscheduled downtime with them, through the whole time I've been with them. They do the odd server upgrades (once/twice per year), which results in scheduled downtime (normally well under an hour), and usually within early morning hours of GMT.

Customer Support [excellent]

These guys go above and beyond the port of call. They have an excellent FAQ system, but if you email them, they usually get back to you within hours (always within a day). Any problems I've had, they've always helped. I recently emailed about moving a domain onto my account that I had registered elsewhere. They emailed within hours telling me what I needed to do.

Pricing [good]

Their pricing structure is good. I'm on their top package which is £55 a year (2GB space/40GB transfer). I'm sure I can get the same cheaper elsewhere, but I definitely think the service is worth the money. I have registered new domains elsewhere, but their prices are very competitive.

Space [very good]

I think that 2GB is more than enough space and more than I'll ever need. This amount of space makes it easy to host a number of sites on one account.

Speed [very good]

Never had any problems, always fast, no delay in loading pages. Don't really know what else to say here.

Bandwidth (Data Transfer) [good]

I have 40GB on my account. Whilst I doubt I'll ever use that much, I'm not sure if it's a realistic amount to match to 2GB webspace. I said before that you could host plenty of sites on one account. If they got too busy, this could be the thing holding you back (I think you can purchase more at an extra cost, however).


SUMMARY [very good]

The Good

It's like going into a local pub and getting a nice smile and a warm hello when you walk in. You probably can get the same packages cheaper elsewhere, but you won't get the personal level of help and support offered. I'm pretty sure they'll help you via Windows Live Messenger if need be aswell.

The Bad

Variety between hosting packages.

Would you recommend them to others?

Without a doubt. It probably sounds like I work for them, but I can promise you I don't. I've been with them for the last 3/4 years and never had any problems. Any minor problems I have had (like the one I mentioned earlier) have been dealt with quickly.
