I'm currently on 3ix's highest shared hosting package for two years, and I've got hardly a bad word to say about them.

They host my domain and website and email addresses, I've never noticed any major downtime, the speeds aren't fantastic, but they're certaintly acceptable.

I've never not been able to contact them via live support, which for me is a crucial feature when choosing a host. BUT, unfortunatley they don't seem to be the brightest, nor the most proffessional of support teams, which is sometimes a let down.

The set-up is automatic, so, there's not much to say on that behalf. They've recently upgraded to the latest cPanel which is definatley an improvement, they also keep upto date on PHP, MySQL and all the rest of it.

In fact, some of the time it's a bit like you're talking to a machine, with bad grammar.

But, there we go. It's fine for simple things, the rest I'm afraid you'll be stuck with Google.

Nevertheless, 3ix are a good host, and I have no plans of moving my site anytime soon.

It has a very very attractive price plan : $1 a month
and loads of disk space

I just need to host a lot of sites, hence it is just good pricing.

However, if you are like me, the sites are your business, then dont go with them.
My sites have been CONSTANTLY down for about once every 2 weeks
I can prove to you with my support ticket.

They do not have phone support
they do not have escalation
they do not have complain channel

Every time they said that this will not happen to you again.

My mail also was done for about 3 days last month
and kept sending me around the world: check my ISP, check my own settings; at the end it was their issue


All in all I dont recommend, I recommend bluehost
